We’re open to tourists again!
The team here at House of Ullr Thredbo are excited to announce that, from midnight Monday 1st June, we are able to open to the tourist market.
So… pack your bags, get your snowboard and skis out of storage, dust off your winter gear, grab your hiking boots, pump up your mountain bike tyres, find your fishing rod, buy a good book… we’re here to offer you a well-deserved change of scenery.
It’s been a tough year, particularly after the bushfires and then COVID-19, so here’s hoping the bad times are finally behind us and we’re in for an exceptional ski season.
Our COVID-safety policy : The good news is, while we’ve been closed to the tourist market we’ve been sprucing up the place to ensure the health and safety of our guests. Scroll down for details.
Lift ticket changes : Due to COVID-19 changes around Thredbo Resort, you must pre-purchase your day and multi-day passes prior to arrival. Scroll down for more information.
COVIDSafe app : To assist in the easing of restrictions, the Australian Government and Thredbo Resort is asking all Australians to download the COVIDSafe app. This will provide the Government confidence that they can find and contain the spread and will mean Governments can ease restrictions, thereby keeping our season safe. Please download the COVIDSafe App here.
Bookings and Enquiries
For bookings and availability, please contact our team or make a booking enquiry via our website and one of our friendly staff will get back to you. Don’t delay… the community and local businesses here in Thredbo are looking forward to seeing you too. We’ve missed you!
Protecting the health and safety of our guests during COVID-19
Updated 29th May 2020
For House of Ullr COVID-19 updates, please refer to this page.
To ensure we’re COVID-safe we’ve made the following changes:
Public Areas – In our public spaces and high-traffic areas we are going above and beyond our normal protocols by cleaning surfaces with increased frequency. Social distancing rules are in place and we’re following all relevant Government and Health Department regulations.
Guest Rooms – We have elevated our rigorous protocols to thoroughly clean all surfaces with hospital-grade disinfectants. For your convenience, disinfecting wipes are available in each room for your personal use.
Restaurant & Bar – Due to COVID-19, we’re adhering to the 4 metre rule by limiting seating numbers and working to a safe dining plan that is updated every day. Due to limited inhouse seating rules, restaurant bookings are now essential. We recommend you call the restaurant direct on (02) 6457 6210 or complete the online enquiry form on our website.
* We’re sure you understand that, due to State Government restrictions, some communal areas in and around the Thredbo area may not be open or access limited when you arrive. These rules are in place to protect the health of guests and workers. These rules are likely to change and will be adapted accordingly.
If you have any questions about our COVID-19 policies and procedures during this time, contact us on (02) 6457 6210 for more information.
You must pre-purchase your day and multi-day lift passes prior to arrival.
Thredbo Resort is planning to open on 22 June (conditions permitting). 2020 Lift Passes will go on sale from 11.59pm on Wednesday 10 June.
To enable the resort to open for skiing and snowboarding, they will be rolling out a revised operating model that has been developed under the advice provided by the NSW Health Department and the State and Federal Governments.
This includes the requirement of visitors to pre-purchase day and multi-day lift passes prior to arrival because the numbers are capped at a maximum number of skiers and snowboarders permitted each day.
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact us direct on (02) 6457 6210.
